FEATURES
The outstanding feature of the U.S.G.A. approved Chromax metallic golf
ball is its unique metallic look. Available in a variety of colors, the
ball is not just beautiful: the reflective layer allows the ball to be
easily seen under various lighting conditions. Many golfers have the
same experience – when a white ball is hit, it is difficult to determine
the flight distance and the landing position. The new Chromax metallic
golf ball allows the golfer to easily determine the flight distance of
the ball. Due to the inter-illumination between the reflective layer and
the fluorescent translucent layer, the surface of the golf ball appears
brighter. Thus it is easy for golfers to observe the flight distance and
the landing position of the ball.
The Chromax Metallic Golf Ball is of 2-pc construction featuring the following:
Inner Core
The relatively large core (1.52 in. dia.) is made with poly-butadiene
rubber compound and other chemicals, molded under high temperature and
pressure to produce a core with superior durability, elastic hysteresis
and high coefficient of restitution. The high energy core is perfectly
centered to ensure a consistently straight flight.
Outer Cover
The cover is a blend of resins. The qualities imparted are superior cut
resistance, cold temperature flexibility, durability, higher spin rate
and outstanding feel against the club face.
Finishing
The Chromax golf ball is finished with two layers of the highest grade
polyurethane coating for an attractive, durable, stain resistant finish.
The printing is excellent.
Dimple: 432
The patented 432 dimples on hromax metallic golf balls are arranged in
carefully designed geometric patterns composed of several different size
dimples, from .125” to .160” diameter. The patterns and dimple depths
are designed to create aerodynamic properties that produce a long,
straight flight with a trajectory and spin that allows the ball to land
holding the green. The design produces low drag with optimum lift for
distance.
